The Position:

You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining programs that provide a safe and healthy working environment for our teams who deliver services within open space facility management and maintenance contracts. This includes maintaining a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Management System to maintain third party certification of the HSEQ systems in line with contractual requirements.

In addition, you will provide on-site assistance in all aspects of rehabilitation and returning to work for work related and non-work related conditions.

This is a permanent, part-time position working three days per week (an average of 22.8 hrs) based at our Fitzroy Gardens and Princess Park head offices.

About You:

• Minimum Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
• Certificate IV Training and Assessment - an advantage
• Accreditation to conduct in-house drug and alcohol testing HLTPAT304D - Collect Pathology specimen other than blood - an advantage
• Significant practical experience in Safety, Environment and Wellbeing management within a multi-discipline environment
• A knowledge of or experience of open space facilities management in parks and gardens
• Detailed knowledge of Australian Standards 9001, 4801 and 14001
• Intellectual capacity and emotional intelligence to manage and lead investigations, consistent with the demands of the position
