A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part time OSHC Educator within our large Drummoyne OSHC program. Gowrie NSW has recently been successful for this program, so you would be starting the journey along with the organisation.

A leader in early and middle childhood for 77 years, Gowrie NSW is a not for profit organisation providing diverse education and care, family support and professional development services to the early and middle childhood sector across NSW. We employ a team of 150 dedicated professionals who are committed and passionate about the sector.
The Role
We are looking to appoint an OSHC Educator who is dedicated, confident, creative and open to learning. This is an opportunity to join an enthusiastic motivated team who are dedicated to working with school aged children.
The position is term-time only with the option of working in the vacation care program during school holiday periods. There is a requirement to work split shifts across the week. The hours of work are as follows:
- Before School Care: Monday – Friday 7am to 9:30am
- After School Care: Monday – Friday 2pm to 6pm
There are also casual positions available.
About you
Essential requirements for this position are:
- New working with children check
- Qualifications or study in Education or similar
- A current first-aid certificate and asthma and anaphylaxis training or willingness to undertake training in this area
- Child protection training certificate
- The ability to interact well with children and build positive relationships with families
- Proven experience in similar roles
