The Tree House Early Childhood Centre is a well-established 90-place long day childcare centre for children aged six weeks to 5 years.  

The Tree House provides a stimulating environment and experience that enables each child to grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially, through a balance of structured play, exploration learning and group participation.  We have an ongoing commitment to provide a service of the highest quality. Our goal is to create an environment where both children and parents feel happy, safe and secure.

This is an opportunity for experienced and motivated Early Childhood Educators to join our team located in Revesby. The role is 8 hours per week.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Build a nurturing, safe, stimulating and interactive learning environment for children
• Communicate positively and openly with children on an ongoing basis
• Assist in planning learning environments, setting up activities, preparing and cleaning away materials and supplies
• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
• Take personal ownership of your working environment and quality of care
• Complete observations and contribute to programs
• Maintain positive working relationships 

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Bachelor of Teaching/Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA assessed qualifications  
• A current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate
• A strong understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Excellent Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Demonstrated initiative, flexibility and adaptability
• Open and friendly communication style
• Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care
• The ability to develop sound professional working relationships with staff, families and children
• Enthusiasm, reliability and the ability to work well within a team environment
• Be an advocate for early years education
