Explorers Early Learning are currently seeking a suitably experienced and passionate Educator to join our team as a Room Leader.

The aim at Explorers is to create a quality learning environment where children can 'explore' allowing them to learn, develop and most importantly, have a sense of belonging. Explorers value and promote a Reggio Emilia inspired learning environment therefore an understanding of the Reggio Emilia approach is highly advantageous. The service utilises an online curriculum therefore the successful candidate must be comfortable with technology and have the willingness to learn new skills.

As the Room Leader you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with families and children, as well as overseeing the rooms curriculum and maintaining meaningful documentation of the children's learning.

The role in detail:

• Permanent position
• Working in Armadale - just a short walk from High Street. 
• Our centre is open from 7:00am - 6:30pm.

Key requirements:

• Bubbly, outgoing and positive
• Diploma of Children Services or equivalent
• First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
• Current Working with Children Check
• Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
• 2 - 3 years hands on experience as a Diploma qualified

Explorers have four premium early learning services across Melbourne with additional services opening over the next two years.
