About the role
As a casual business trainer, you will be responsible for the face-to-face delivery of the Diploma in Leadership & Management (BSB 51915) catering for approximately 40 students over three day and evening classes. In return, you will be provided with a competitive hourly rate, based on your previous professional experience and qualifications. An immediate start is available - teaching cohort 1, Tuesday 9am to 5pm; cohort 2, Thursday 9am to 5pm; and cohort 3, Wednesday and Thursday 4pm to 8pm. To provide continuity, one or more trainers will be selected for the role – in your application, please clearly indicate your availability for all or some of the classes.
Job responsibilities
· Ensure the delivery of comprehensive, high quality academic programs to all students
- Prepare for and deliver the course, through face-to-face delivery
- Maintain a Dropbox for submission, marking and reporting of assignments
- Assess, record and report on student assessment efficiently and on time
- Ensure students are meeting their progress requirements
- Build and maintain effective relationships with students and support them to achieve successful completion
- Build and maintain effective relationships with administration, management and training colleagues.
Selection criteria
- Holds the Diploma in Leadership & Management (BSB 51915), or similar qualifications which map to BSB 51915.
- Holds Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, TAE 40116 (or TAE 40110, including TAELLN411 and TAEASS502), or diplomas in training and assessment (TAE 50111 or TAE 50211).
- Demonstrated successful RTO experience, delivering business courses to international and/or domestic students.
- Demonstrated efficient and effective practices including managing marking and record-keeping practices, review and continuous improvement of teaching and learning material, and managing time, workload and priorities.
