Timber Tots Child Care has a unique job offer for a person who is passionate about educating children around the importance of the natural world.
Timber Tots Child Care has created a beautiful garden area that is specifically designed to educate children in the areas of natural environment, sustainability and caring for plants and animals. The purpose of this role is to allow children to connect to nature and develop a passion for the animals and plants not only within our Centre but the environments around them.
We are looking for an Educator who is keen to work outside and develop the children's knowledge and enjoyment in the Centre's purpose built garden, adjacent natural parklands and within the adjacent community garden.
The position is a part time role working a minimum from 8.30am-1pm and includes programming and setup time – with scope to expand this position longer term. Perfect for any educator seeking a school hour arrangement!
If you have the qualifications needed, current certificates (first aid/Asthma & Anaphylaxis and nominated/certified Supervisor), excellent written and verbal communication skills and have a strong desire to work in our garden whilst maintaining a positive culture with our centre apply at [email protected]. All areas of this centre have been carefully designed to enhance the environment for exploration, enquiry and play for all children. We are providing three purpose built outdoor play areas for children to grow and develop. In addition to these functional indoor/outdoor play areas, we will also provide state of the art technology throughout, a fully functioning library and dance hall and have heavily invested in carefully selected resources.
Open 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
