Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) is one of Tasmania’s largest non-government employers. It supports over 16, 000 students in Catholic Schools and Colleges.
This integral role reports to the Director: Learning and Teaching and is accountable for the management of all matters relating to the equitable access to quality education for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI), Gifted and Talented and English as Another Language (EAL) students.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate professional educational leadership experience and the following technical capabilities:
- a strong commitment and well-developed capacity to role model Catholic values as defined within our vision
- expertise to provide strategic direction and professional support in the areas of ATSI, Gifted and Talented and EAL
- self motivated and committed to a team environment to deliver effective Learning and Teaching outcomes
- ability to establish networks, build strong relationships and engage with stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes
The successful candidate will demonstrate significant relevant experience and hold post graduate qualifications in Education or related discipline.
