Little Peoples Place Early Learning Centres is a family owned centres.We are looking for a dedicated 2IC/ECT to join or supportive and innovative team. The position requires a passionate and motivated worker with a background in the delivery of children programs, sound business management practice and a passionate about working with children, families and community.
About The Role:-
As 2IC you will be required to:
• Provide competent operational and financial management of a 49 place child care centre.
• Provide confident team leadership, management, support and motivation for your team of educators.
• Ensure programming and documentation compliance in accordance with Early Years Learning Framework.
• Promote positive relationships with children, families and the community.
• Provide discrete careful management of conflicts and other challenges that may arise in a child care environment.
• Management of enrolment and attendance data through QikKids.
• Management of fee collection.
• Ensure licensing and accreditation requirements are met, including documentation
• Ensure National Quality Framework standards compliance.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education which is equivalent to working with children 0-6 years.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to a new role and environment.
• Sound understanding and knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, Education and Care Services National Regulations.
• Sound understanding and knowledge of funding and licensing regulations for child care centres in accordance with policies, procedures, the Centre's philosophy and Code of Ethics.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid Certificate; Approved Anaphylaxis Management Training; Approved Emergency Asthma Management Training (or willing to complete such training).
• Excellent communication and people skills to be able to build strong relationships with parents, families, staff and the community.
