Family Day Care Educators are small business owners and child care professionals who work in their own homes to provide a high quality caring, safe and educational environment for children to play in, learn and develop new skills.

To apply you need to:

• have a genuine liking for children and interest in their development
• Your indoor and outdoor home environment is paramount including safety, cleanliness and spaces that can be transformed into beautiful play environments for children.
• be willing and able to work within the Australian National Education and Care Law, Regulations and Standards to maintain registration as an approved home based educator
• have or are willing to enrol and complete a minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and commit to on-going training
• have oral and written skills communication and organisational skills and the ability to manage a small business
• would suit centre based educators who would like to work from home
