Exciting opportunity in a growing region
Our team is growing and we currently seeking an experienced professional to join us in the position of RTO Manager at our location in Rockhampton employed on a Full-Time basis.
You will be responsible for managing the operations and compliance requirements of RTO by ensuring compliant systems are in place and that the RTO is audit ready at all times.
Previous Experience within a similar role is required working for an RTO or as an RTO consultant
The Job Tasks
- Partnering with key stakeholders to identify training and development needs and trends.
- Professionally develop and recommend short, medium and long-term strategies to meet training needs.
- Team management. Management of the administration, training, compliance, operational and marketing personnel. Including recruitment and selection.
- Update and implement RTO/CRICOS policies and procedures.
- Responsible for RTO Operation and RTO administration
- Managing the implementation of all training packages, qualifications and courses delivered.
- Meeting financial targets and working within set budgets
- Responsible to create training modules, assign to the educator & monitor progressions by using online training platform
- Responsible for internal and external audit (RTO/CRICOS)
- Responsible for ASQA enquires and other VET regularities bodies
Skills & experience
- Experience with RTO compliance and document management systems
- At least 2-3 years Compliance experience from within the RTO space and industry experience Certificate IV in TAE40110
- The ideal candidate must be a self-driven individual with the ability to work autonomously while maintaining high proficiency in data and with an eye for continuous improvement in all areas.
- Knowledge of the VET Quality Framework, ESOS Act and relevant standards, legislation and codes relating to academic delivery, assessment and student services
- Proficiency in aXcelerate or a similar student administration database
The key responsibility arears of the role include but are not limited to:
- Contract management
- Audit preparation
- Partnership and customer management
- Resource compliance
- Training and assessment strategy review, development and management
- Continuous improvement
- Quality improvement
- Reports and record keeping
- Industry consultation
- International RTO management including management of Cricos and PRISM reconciliation
You should have:
Minimum 5 years management experience
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience and a proven track record of full compliance within an RTO that also includes internal and external audit experience
- Have strong passion to work in training
- Excellent communication skills
- Focused on outcomes
- Have ability to communicate effectively
- Be Able to create PDs, training courses and deliver them
- Have Self initiative, committed and loyal
