Cambridge Education is a key part of the Mott MacDonald group and is known as a global, trusted leader in the development and delivery of high quality professional learning and consultancy services to schools and school systems.
Our Melbourne team is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Education, who will primarily focus on managing major projects that revolve around the development and delivery of blended learning in the school education sector.
This role requires demonstrable experience as part of, or to K-12 school system, with a strong pedagogical foundation and understanding of adult learning principles.
The successful candidate will be required to work with course writers to design and develop blended learning programs for teachers and school leaders, oversee state-wide delivery, manage complex logistics and work closely with course facilitators. This is an important role to establish a high standard for Cambridge Education blended learning programs.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience. This candidate will have considerable experience in working with the school education sector, with a knowledge of contemporary Australian education policy and systems. An understanding and application of blended learning principles and adult learning, as well as their application within professional learning programs, is desirable.
Key duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
• End-to-end project management, from project design through to evaluation
• Develop high quality online and blended professional learning programs
• Manage complex project budgets
• Manage delivery of state wide blended learning programs
• Coordination of vendors, suppliers and facilitators
• Establish strong and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead the delivery of programs and monitor the progress during the roll-out stages
• Lead and chair meetings with stakeholders where necessary
To be successful in this role you will require:
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Proven experience of complex project management with high level skills encompassing all phases from design to evaluation and including budget and schedule management
• A strong foundation in pedagogy principles and roll-out of adult learning programs
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects effectively, and to meet tight timelines
• Experience in building and managing stakeholder relationships
• Key management skills such as negotiation, delegation, innovation and problem solving
• Strong technology skills, with experience in managing learning management systems an advantage
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite
• Demonstrated experience of working effectively in teams that have met demanding targets and timelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work within a team environment
Proven expertise in the design, delivery and implementation of blended learning programs for school educators would be highly advantageous.
