The Nido collection of early schools for children was launched in 2014 to provide families with a new standard of childcare services, focusing on early childhood experiences and education. The word ‘Nido’ is Italian for ‘nest’ and was inspired by the Italian principles of the ‘Reggio Emilia Approach’, which is the world-class educational philosophy upon which our schools are founded.

 

Our brand new centre in Woolloongabba boasts state of the art facilities with outstanding play environments inspired by nature and this is an excellent opportunity for an experience team leader to join us on our Nido journey.

Reporting to the Executive Centre Manager, your role as Leading Educator will involve creating and implementing an educational program for the children in line with the Reggio Emilia Approach. You will also provide exceptional leadership and guidance to the Educator Assistants to support their career growth. 

• Diploma in Children's Services (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a team leader role at a Childcare centre
• A genuine passion for the Reggio Emilia Philosophy
• Ability to demonstrate innovative and creative thinking
• Experience in delivering quality early education and care
• A valid Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
• Current First Aid Certificate

All positions are 37.5 hours per week, Monday through to Friday.
