Who we are
Billi Lids is an early childhood centre located in an historic old Primary School Site and we are licenced for 29 children, in 3 different age groupings.
The Village is approximately 15 minutes north of Byron Bay and 20 minutes south of Tweed Heads.

The role
As the Nominated Supervisor / Educational Leader, you will work closely with our educators and provide curriculum direction and guidance.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring children’s learning and development is guided by the learning outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework.
This role is 35 hours per week, with approximately 8-10 hours non contact
Duties of the role include:
- Develop, plan and implement a quality educational program that reflects the EYLF
- Meet elements based on the NQS
- QIP and SIP plans
- Teaching 4-5 year group (10-12 children)
- Develop/updating/complying with centre policies/procedures
- Mentor and lead team of 5 educators
What you require
- Bachelor of teaching / early childhood (4 year) - (any overseas qualifications must have ACECQA approval)
- Current BOSTES / NESA registration
- Current Working with Children check / First Aid & CPR / child protection
- Relevant experience (N.S. or 2IC)
- Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS and National regulations
- Strong comm skills (incl written) with children, families and staff
- Be a motivated and flexible team player
- Must have professional references
