A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Coordinator/Educational Leader at our highly respected Outside School Hours Care program located within Erskineville Public School.

We employ a team of 150 dedicated professionals who are committed and passionate about the sector.
The Role
The OSHC Assistant Coordinator will work closely with our experienced Coordinator in the delivery of a leisure-based program for children attending Erskineville Public School. The suitable candidate will have experience and a strong understanding of school aged children with knowledge of the My Time Our Place framework to undertake the delegation of Educational Leader. Some of the duties include:
- Grow and lead a team of educators;
- Maintain effective communication with the OSHC Coordinator;
- Provide quality education and care services for children and families;
- Monitor and maintain compliance with the National Law and Regulations
This is a full-time role, working 38 h per week, rostered between 7am and 6pm.
About you
The position would suit a candidate who is confident, well organised and able to work independently and as a member of a large team. You will have experience in a similar role and will be able to engage with children in an authentic and positive way.
Essential requirements for this position are:
- New working with children check
- Qualifications or study in Education or similar
- A current first-aid certificate, asthma and anaphylaxis training or willingness to undertake training
- Child Protection Training certificate
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Ability to work and contribute to a team
