Smart Teachers is presenting a unique opportunity to join our hardworking Sydney team as a Recruitment Consultant in either a full time or part time capacity. The successful person will perform various recruitment practices to provide accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail in the areas of candidate sourcing, screening, shortlisting and client management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with candidates on a daily basis – interviewing, profiling and vetting candidates
- Ensuring candidates meet compliance requirements including reference checking, qualification checks, teacher registration confirmation and any other necessary safeguarding
- Develop new and manage ongoing relationships with client schools
- Building new business including client visits and telephone communication
- Short listing candidates (Teachers and education staff) – including CV revision and submission; regular consultancy and communication with Clients; interview co-ordination and confirmation
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- An understanding of the relevant standards and policies pertaining to the recruitment of teachers in New South Wales & the Australian Capital Territory
- Knowledge and understanding of recruitment processes would be desirable
- Bachelor Degree - preferably in Education; however, this is not essential
- High attention to detail
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential
- Strong organisational skills
- Be eligible for/in possession of an Australian Passport or work visa
- Australian Driver’s License holder desirable
