One Tree Community Services has an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Child Care Director to join our Bernice McLeod Service in beautiful Exmouth, WA. As the Director, you will lead, develop and inspire your team to successfully deliver the best possible outcomes to our children, families and the wider community.
 
One Tree Community Services Inc. is a not for profit organisation that supports community services and child care centres throughout Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Victoria.

About Exmouth:
Home to the Nigaloo Reef, Exmouth is a Coastal region of WA. The Nigaloo Reef is known world over for its Heritage listed Marine Park. Exmouth offers untouched, stunning beaches, where you can relax, take in the magnificent surroundings or go for an unforgettable snorkel. It has a small population of 2,700 and is also a popular tourist destination, where people flock to swim with the  incredible Whale Sharks and get up close to other marine life.

If you are an experienced Leader who is a team player, and is able to lead by example and is looking for a new challenge in your career please send in your resume to us identifying that you have experience in:

• Managing a team with the objective of supporting the service to exceed national quality standards.
• Human Resources: Leading people and manage human resources effectively and efficiently.
• Partnerships: Working with families, staff and the community to support an integrated service.
• Quality: Overseeing continuous improvement and positioning the service to get the best possible outcomes including rating as exceeding the National Quality Standards in Australia.
• Financial Management: Keeping the service on budget.
• Professional Development: Supporting the development of staff including workplace training and assessment of trainees.
• Risk Management: Managing risks within the service, ensuring compliance and all legislative and regulatory requirements are met. Ensuring the service adheres to organizational policies and procedures.
• Education and Care: Provide guidance and mentoring to staff in best practice working with children and be an advocate for children. In smaller services directors will be required to work with children directly as a part of the roster.
