Our client is a mining manufacturer who currently have a position available for a Rubber Hose Builder to join their expanding team.
Experience working with Rubber, hand and power tools, forklift license, assembly / mechanical work and are all the skills that would be an advantage.
Reliability is the key attribute that will have you working consistent hours for a good rate of pay. Our client is well known in their respective industry, and have the track record of looking after their casual staff by providing a safe and enjoyable working environment.
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:-
- Have used an overhead crane (Preferably have a Dogman’s Licence)
- Have Current Forklift licence (a must)
- Knowledge or had an introduction to Lean manufacturing
- Understand safe work practices and have used Take 5 , JHA's etc
- Preferably experience in manufacturing Rubber hoses.
- Preferably experience in doing cold and hot rubber lining.
- Preferably experience in manufacturing Slinger Belts.
- Be physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
- Posses excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Be able to pass pre employment medical inclusive of drug and alcohol testing
- Have own reliable transport
