About the Role
We currently have an opportunity for an innovative and enthusiastic individual to take the next step in your career with Hastings Deering.
  
Reporting to the Area Manager – South East Queensland, This role will see you lead and manage the parts operations across our South East Queensland including Brisbane, Toowoomba, Gold and Sunshine Coasts.
  
In this dynamic role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage business unit forecasts, sales and profit performance
• Maintain regular communications with internal and external customers / stakeholders in regards to new product developments, technical or logistical challenges maximising business performance
• Analyse and review market conditions, competitors and legislation to maximise business benefits adapting to market conditions and requirements
• Negotiate and manage parts and service agreements
• Drive continuous improvement of safety culture and performance metrics throughout your area of accountability
• Manage parts DCAL and ensure budget levels are met according to both customer and management expectations
• Participate actively in development of marketing plans 
• Ensure parts OTIF meets targeted levels and are acceptable for both customers and management
• Ensure Parts operations are adequately supervised, staffed and skilled to deliver accurate and timely service, support and expertise

About You
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

• Minimum 10 years' experience in Parts Management role within a diversified Company leading a team to achieve targeted results
• Demonstrated experience in leading a team to achieve targets results
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or Engineering
• Extensive Caterpillar parts and logistics systems experience
• Heavy earthmoving, mining or transport industry parts knowledge
• Proven ability to consistently achieve targeted KPI’s and revenues
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement
• Superior communication with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Ability to engage, influence and achieve strong customer relationships
• A trade background with knowledge of Caterpillar parts system and comprehensive understanding of business systems and processes is desirable
