The Role
- Align and leverage efforts and strategy with Global & Regional account management team to deliver a coherent & cohesive approach to the assigned accounts
- Identify and communicate with senior management strategic opportunities arising from the assigned accounts
- Develop and direct the implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards where applicable for the assigned program
- Establish and maintain performance measurements
- Conduct regular internal operational reviews with all internal stakeholders (Ops, IT, Finance…)
- Establish joint forecasts with client(s) and conduct QBRs and BPIs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the assigned accounts
- Manage customer service issues & customer complaints
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal customer
- Manage individual service level, ensuring to provide timely and accurate advice

- Sound knowledge of supply chain/logistics (WMS, TMS) and Freight Forwarding systems and practices
- Sound knowledge of relevant industry legislation
- Sound knowledge of air and ocean freight operations import/export; familiar with customs requirements for import/export
- Extensive experience in Supply Chain and international transportation
- Experience with national/large account sales, negotiation, and maintenance techniques
- Tertiary studies in a related discipline (i.e. Business degree, Supply Chain/Logistics, MBA etc.).
