The Position
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for:
A global freight forwarder with extensive networks, transport and warehousing. An organization that prides itself on its successful history creating transport solutions. With a huge list of corporate clients that expand the globe.
The Position
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- Communicating with clients, carriers and suppliers
- Processing of import transactions including LCL, FCL and FAK shipments
- Co-ordinating the import sea process from shipper to consignee
- Ensuring transshipment freight is processed effectively to minimise delays
- Reconciling carrier invoices against agreed client rates
- Responding to customer inquiries and resolving service issues promptly and efficiently
- Escalating unresolved shipment issues to the Supervisor
To be considered for this role you require:
- Proven import sea freight experience
- Positive and outgoing team player attitude
- Strong and effective communication style
- Corporate presentation skills
