National Workforce is currently recruiting for this well known Transport and Logistics site located in Western Suburbs.

Our valued Client located in Western Suburbs of Brisbane has an immediate requirement for an experienced Fleet Planner/Implementer. This is permanent position for the right candidate with flexibility with shift hours as company operation span is 6am to 6pm. Strong geographical knowledge of Brisbane and coastal areas.

Skills and Attributes required for the role:

• Good geographical knowledge of Brisbane, Sunshine and Gold Coast areas
• Previous Transport experience
• Basic Fatigue Management accreditation or awareness a Must
• Attention to detail
• Ability to problem solve
• Good communication skills
• Effective time - management skills
• Flexibility with shift hrs as operation span is 6am to 6pm
• Current Drivers Licence

Duties performed:

• Monitor and direct Independent Contractors in execution of loads
• Daily load scheduling and fleet allocation of all compiled and scheduled loads
• Rearrange loads or routes for future
• Ensure data completion of all loads using FMS and PC Despatch system
• Communicate with Site Drivers with pickup and delivery
• Control and monitor daily and weekly revenue plan
• Compile POD's, Trailer check sheets are completed
• After hours contact for unfinished routes
• Be the first point of contact for route or transport queries
• Working in a team environment

Successful candidate will be cross trained in Fleet Allocation and or Load Scheduling.
