About the company
This leading building supplier provides quality housing products to their clients throughout Australia. Due to growth and expansion, they are looking for a Factory Hand to join their team.
About the role
The successful candidate will be working Monday to Friday 6am-2pm, joining the team as an on-hired employee. The opportunity for a permanent role exists after a successful 3-6 month probationary period, along with medical and police checks. Experience in a manufacturing, glass or timber environment would be advantageous, but not essential.
Duties
- General labouring
- Cutting and assembling timber/aluminium
- Using hand and power tools
Skills and experience
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual lifting
- Assembly experience (ideally with timber/aluminium)
- Confident working with hand/power tools - Must have experience using a staple gun
- Great communication skills
