Let’s talk about the role:

The Production Planning Manager is responsible for the high-level global production planning of ResMed’s manufacturing sites. The focus of the role is medium to long-term planning across each site, allowing local production planners to concentrate on the short-term operational needs.

Let’s talk about you:

To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrable experience in performing the following responsibilities:

• Regular medium to long-term global reviews of the various production plans, ensuring ultimate agreement on those plans and the resulting decisions in investment in capacity, resources, and materials
• Be the primary contact for expertise in medium to long-term planning systems/practice.
• Contribute to the controls over the various MRP planning parameters for the factories, including components
• Ensure all necessary records and documentations are maintained, all activities are carried out in compliance with quality control policies/work instructions, and ensure implementation of management systems.

To get us really excited, you will have 5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar planning/forecasting role including management experience and 5 years practical experience in MRP environment and APICS certification or equivalent.

Candidates with tertiary qualifications in planning, logistics, or similar are preferred.

The manufacturing site covered by this role are in Sydney, Singapore, Malaysia (Johor), and US (Atlanta). Production is characterised by generally high volumes, although with many regional variants.
