In addition to our Metropolitan Depot we also specialise in remote areas right across WA, Northern Territory and Queensland to provide the utmost of continuity of service in a safe and efficient manner.
An exciting opportunity has become available due to recent growth to join our team in Perth in the position of Operations Coordinator, you will be reporting to the company Operations Manager.
We are seeking an experienced, approachable Operations Coordinator who has great leadership skills, is a great communicator, flexible, and able to make decisions in an ever-changing and developing work place. The successful candidate will need to have strong customer/client relationship skills as it is imperative that you are able to perform your duties in a professional manner.
Duties will include
- Manage all resources required for existing services, staffing changes, new client bookings and required fleet maintenance
- Coordinate and Manage Bus Drivers to meet contract requirements
- Coordinate and assist new staff onboarding and resourcing as required
- Key central contact for current and perspective client relationships
- Conduct daily start up meetings and coordinate toolbox meetings
- Ensure all HSE Legal and ISO obligations including Fatigue Management and Fitness for Work to ensure all drivers remain compliant
- Responsible for all office and administrative duties required of the Perth Depot
- Manage and coordinate tour bookings and training services for key clients
To be successful in this position you will need:
- HR Licence with F Endorsement
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- Experience in a similar position in a relevant field (Transport, Tourism, Vehicle Hire, Labour Hire)
- A great attitude and ability to be flexible in your approach in different situations
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels (staff, clients, customers, management)
- High attention to detail and accuracy in an efficient manner
- Ability to manage staff and staff issues
- Have a can-do attitude and the ability to think outside the bus
