Tiger Waste is Canberra's largest C&D waste company in Canberra.  Its fleet of skip bin and hooklift trucks are responsible for over 120 bin movements per day and service the majority of Canberra's largest building projects.

We are seeking a driver to join our team.  To be considered for this position you must have the following:

  • MR, HR or HC truck licence
  • A solid work ethic
  • A desire to learn and develop your skills
  • Stable prior work history
  • And a "can do" attitude 

This position is best suited to an individual looking for a start within the transport industry.  The successful applicant will be the provided the opportunity to drive a range of heavy vehicles, develop their heavy vehicle driving skills and work in a fast paced and challenging environment. 

As a driver with our company you will be required to work with hydraulic equipment, demonstrate strong problem solving skills and show you are willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

All waste collected is transported to the Tiger Waste transfer station, located in Fyshwick.  As such our drivers are not required to work in messy and dirty tips.  

To be successful with Tiger Waste you will:

  • Be well presented
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Be punctually
  • Have a good driving record (applicants will be requested for a driving history)

Drivers may be required to work within a 6 day roster, based in Fyshwick with an immediate start available.

Successful applicants must hold or be prepared to obtain at their cost a white card and asbestos awareness.
