- Key Leadership role within the Manufacturing Management team based in Toowoomba
- Oversee and Drive Operational Excellence throughout two Queensland sites
The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for managing, overseeing, implementing and supervising key Operational and Manufacturing excellence strategies across Vinidex manufacturing sites. The successful applicant will be tasked with enhancing the existing culture of collaboration across the two manufacturing sites to embed recognised best practice from across the manufacturing industry. This role is based in Toowoomba

Description
The primary functions of the Manufacturing Manager:
- Drive Safety behavioural excellence and ensure employee accountability across all levels
- Continue to implement and drive Manufacturing Excellence in consultation with key stakeholders
- Lead resources to maximise profitability
- Build Continuous Improvement culture utilising performance data to drive improvement
- Provide leadership and support to encourage and maintain a cohesive manufacturing environment
- Transfer strategies into operational plans and set the goals for agreed KPIs
- Develop tools, processes and methodologies to enable Manufacturing excellence
- Ensure the Group organisational standards for management for Health and Safety, Quality, ISO4001, Corporate Policy, Customer Excellence and business values are adhered to
Profile
The successful candidate should posses the following:
- Degree qualified in Engineering, or extensive experience within the Manufacturing industry
- A proven track record in leading manufacturing sites
- Familiarity and experience with analytical procedures and concepts around LEAN and continuous improvement
- Strong understanding of best in class manufacturing process, concepts and tools
- Experience in developing robust business cases to support future investment/divestment
- Excellent Leadership and change management skills and experience
