This high performing business is looking to bring on a new dispatcher for their trucks, allocating multiple jobs a day. Being responsible for ensuring the channel operates effectively and efficiently this is a critical role to the performance of the business.
The objective of the business is to provide efficient, professional and friendly service to customers second to none in the transport industry.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Outstanding communication skills
- Be a real team player
- Handle tough situations and be a problem solver
- Preferably come from a taxi truck background
- Acted as a point of contact for drivers
- Manually allocated work to drivers / couriers predicting delivery times etc
- Strong understanding of truck pallet capacity
- Ability to build relationships (especially with drivers)
- A systems knowledge and understanding
