Applicant must be at least 3 years experienced in the following work applications and equipment
• Tool Pathing of 2D and 3D drawings and producing associated products to customer specification. Read technical drawings.
Essential CAD software experience as Drawing and Tool pathing is a major part of this position
- Art-Cam Pro. (Training provided)
- Toolpath Software for machines (Training provided)
- Alpha Cam, Solid works, Rhino, Corel (advantage)
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Essential machine experience
• Loading, unloading and operation of flat bed CNC Machinery (Knife Cutters, routers, waterjet, Laser cutters/engravers and fast wire)
Additional Job Requisites
• Ascertain the specifications for each job
• Ensure QUALITY and deadlines are met
• Liaise with management and staff on the best practice for each job (team player)
• Calibrate equipment if necessary
• Service clean and store equipment as appropriate
Assistance in the factory will also be required as secondary task depending on workload.
This is a performance based position which has very real time constrains
Position is for an immediate start and we offer minimal job training as we fully expect you to have an extensive knowledge of the above , then if successful in the position for 3 months the option for a permanent position plus monthly bonuses may be offered
