These clients of mine are looking to fill their PM shifts with preferably 3PL experience candidates, however are open to other backgrounds. They both have customers in the fashion industry and are both in the Western and South West suburbs of Sydney. Being highly focused on safety and always continuing to improve the business this will be a focus of yours to fit in with their philosophies and to take the business forward.
Having a positive and energetic personality will get you far in this business!!!
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A strong knowledge and work experience in all areas within a fast paced DC site
- At least 2 years previous warehousing supervisor experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to manage large teams of both perm and casual staff
- A strong leadership quality to develop a performance driven environment and to maximise the teams potential through mentoring and training
- Strong customer service focus
- Good understanding of WMS
- Strong understanding of Picking Systems
- Experience in driving a strong safety culture
A retail understanding will really help for this, but having the right customer focused mentality for a large distribution center goes a long way!
