Idealair Group supplies well known market brands of air movement equipment and associated products into the HVAC & R and affiliated industries. At Idealair Group we are dedicated to servicing our customers and offering product guidance to help with the growth and success of our customer's projects.
We are currently seeking a proactive person with strong experience in the warehousing and logistics sector to join our team located in Fyshwick ACT. This is a full time warehousing & logistics role where you will use your current skills and knowledge in this field to provide added value to the business. General knowledge of the heating, ventilation, commercial fans and air-conditioning market or a similar industry is preferred.
Reporting to the National Warehouse Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
- Providing exceptional customer service and developing quality customer relationships
- Telephone and Counter sales and technical support
- Timely and accurate processing of orders
- Maintaining stock levels, including stock housekeeping
- Working alongside management to implement then maintain new inventory control systems and procedures
- Picking and packing of all outward bound customer orders from both Idealair Group and direct drop orders from suppliers
- Liaison with vendors to ensure the business and customers' needs are met and information is effectively passed between all parties
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in the warehousing and logistics sector is a pre-requisite for this role
- A current Forklift Licence & Drivers Licence
- Experience in a B2B wholesale role
- Sound knowledge of Windows based computer systems, ie. Microsoft Office products
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High degree of attention to detail
- Strong ability to work autonomously and part of a team
