The Company
Our client is a fast growing, world leader in the research, development and manufacturing of specialist clinical materials, with products distributed to over 100 countries throughout the world. Our client also has a strong focus on the development and well-being of all its’ employees.
The Role
Based in Bayswater and reporting to the Production Supervisor, our client is now seeking a Machine Operator - Blender, in a temporary capacity working full time hours Monday to Friday, in this ‘temp to perm’ opportunity.
This will require someone with a good understanding of manufacturing operations, excellent communication and work ethic and someone who wants to establish themselves with a company who understands the value of their employees.
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- The safe movement and storage of ingredient inputs
- Regular visual quality checks during the entire production run
- Removal of waste
- Accurate Blending, weighing and preparation of batches
- Accurate completion of daily logs, production records and goods movement
- Monitor and safely operate all equipment during the daily production cycle
The Successful Application
Your strong Machine Operating skills, together with your general ‘mechanical aptitude’ will set you above the competition. You will also possess outstanding communication and written skills and take pride in coming to work each day with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
In addition, you will have an analytical mindset, strong attention to detail and enjoy being part of the ‘work family’. Other qualities include:
- Previous machine operating experience (preferred but not essential)
- Good understanding of manufacturing & production procedures
- Blending experience preferred
- Physically fit
The Offer
In return for your expertise, we can offer you a temp rate of $26 per hour, plus Super, a role close to home, some overtime and chance to progress to permanency for the right candidate after a successful qualifying period.
