Our client is seeking to employ a talented Sales Executive who is focused on new business acquisition. The company covers all aspects of logistics services including Sea and Airfreight, Warehousing & Distribution, Customs Clearance and Tariff consultation.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Working closely with new and existing clients
- Maintain call rates to ensure clients are on a call cycle to ensure optimal level of service to clients at all times
- Grow and develop pipeline management for territory
- Work in line with budgets & KPI's
- Rate negotiations
- Quotation preparation
To secure this position you will have:
- Experience in B2B Sales environment, from within the freight forwarding or transport and logistics industry
- Ability to network and build strong relationships
- Ability to quickly learn product and service knowledge in order to translate a customer's need into a solution
- Have strong communications skills and be a strong negotiator in selling both air, sea, warehousing and distribution services
- Perishables knowledge is a plus
