Production Manager role, $100k + super, Western Sydney, Mon - Fri 8am-4pm.
Your new company
You will be working for a Pharmaceutical company, who specialize in complementary medicine and health products and adhere to GMP.
Your new role
• Handling TGA, HACCP, HALAL, FOOD and other Audits from regulatory bodies and clients
• Develop & maintain planning production based on client orders and priorities using ERP system
• Coordinating with Production, QA/QA and Warehouse for efficient material Flow
• Ensuring efficient utilisation of company resources, including machines and personnel, and ensuring maximum production output
• To ensure that the initial and ongoing GMP and competency training programs (SOP’s) are maintained at all times for all production staff.
• Investigate and report on all product quality customer complaints working closely with the customer service and QAQC departments ensuring master manufacturing documents and or procedures are amended to prevent the mistake from happening.
• To monitor and implement all required health and safety standards and systems within the production areas
• To oversee that the production records (batch and packing records) are evaluated and signed by an authorized person before they are sent to the Quality Assurance department.
• To oversee that the manufacturing facility and equipment is maintained at a high level of GMP at all times and to work with the Maintenance engineer on preventative maintenance of all equipment and production facilities.
• Preparation and review of SOPs
• Ensuring the set SOPs are followed at all times and as per cGMP
• Maintaining change controls, CAPAs & deviations
What you'll need to succeed
A Chemistry or Engineering Degree / similar and extensive experience in a similar production role (Tablet/Soft Gel/Liquid/ Food products) within the complementary healthcare industry is essential.
You will have strong proven commitment to legislative compliance at all levels of manufacturing and a proven ability to manage operating personnel in a team environment that builds strong commitment to objectives and goals and internal cultural values.
You must also demonstrate proven ability to maintain a safe operating environment that meets all legislative requirements. Including developing prevention and precautions against exposure to hazardous, flammable, noise and manual handling risks. A strong commitment to open transparent communication and mediation at all levels of operational management and the ability to communicate at a high level in both verbal and written form at a senior management level is important.

This is a permanent role, you will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary in comparison to the market rate. You will be working Monday - Friday, approximately 40hrs a week.
