An exciting and challenging storeperson & sales support opportunity has become available at our Welshpool Site. This role has two specific areas of responsibility, the first, conduct general warehousing duties and the second, to provide customers with a high quality point of contact including placing customer orders, deliveries, inquiries and providing support to the sales team.

Reporting to the National Logistics Coordinator the successful applicant will be required to undertake a range of activities including:

  • General warehouse activities including receiving and storing of all packed goods, data entry, picking and packing customer orders and organizing branch transfers
  • Perform repack and transfer of materials into pail and drum SKU as required
  • Perform pigment and resin mixing as required for customer orders
  • Load and unload trucks daily
  • Housekeeping including 5S and adherence to all safety processes and procedures
  • Receiving orders from customers, checking details and pricing, ensuring that they are entered within company guidelines and policies and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure all customer needs can be met 

·      Receive and follow up customer inquiries, problems and complaints through to completion and resolution, or refer them to the appropriate personnel 

·      Act as an extension of the sales team and provide support to the Account Manager

To succeed in this position, it will be highly desirable for our candidates to have:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in similar warehouse role
  • Have a proactive attitude and be highly motivated
  • Strong customer service skills and sales ethic
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Capacity to work accurately, attention to detail and make decisions on competing priorities 
  • Sound computer skills, experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX or SAP ERP would be advantageous
  • Current forklift licence
