RESPONSIBILITIES
High calibre senior Plant Manager required to direct and coordinate the daily operations of the processing plant, which includes developing efficiency strategies to ensure the plant meets production goals and standards at minimal manufacturing costs. 

Reporting to the COO, some of the responsibilities include:
    Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of the plant 
    Establishing and achieving plant productivity budgets including identifying cost saving initiatives and        overseeing the timely implementation of projects;
    Liaising with relevant functional leads within the group to manufacture products in line with standards for safety, quality, cost and service;
    Driving the plant optimisation and improvement initiatives, ensuring the effective implementation of change
    Develop a culture of continuous improvement and LEAN manufacturing in all operational processes.
    Determine operational needs and develop, sponsor and raise capital projects as appropriate;
    Report on performance against key accountabilities
    Effectively communicate to both internal and external customers

REQUIREMENTS
    Tertiary degree qualified in a Manufacturing/Management and/or Operations discipline or other related field;
    10+ years progressive experience in a key leadership/management role at a food manufacturing facility;
    Previous experience/strong understanding of budgeting/expense management with a basic understanding of financial and accounting practices;
    Previous experience/best practices implementing and using continuous improvement/lean tools;
    Previous experience/broad understanding of safety systems and enforcement of safety rules and policies.

REMUNERATION AND LOCATION
A competititve remuneration package will be offered to the right candidate. Located in Western Sydney.
