Your new role
Reporting to the National Warehouse and Manufacturing Manager, your new role will play an integral part in the productivity and performance of this fast growing division.
- You will be responsible for the efficient and effective execution of activities relating to manufacturing, distribution, storage, handling, stock control, quality and safety of the manufacturing plant
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of workplace safety, expenditure and people management through effective leadership and change management
- Ensure all OH&S policies and procedures are adhered to
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and maintenance of the site, building and equipment
- Exceed internal and external customer's expectations
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be self motivated and have strong manufacturing experience.
- Exposure to ERP & MRP systems (Pronto will be advantageous)
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing practices
- Strong Managerial experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Continuous Improvement and forward thinking mindset
- Strong communication skills to liaise with all customers and stakeholders as well team management
- Exposure to Cabinetry or Woodwork highly advantageous
