Core Talent are working with a National food manufacturing company to recruit a days based Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for managing the daily activities of 6 tradesman in a state of the art fully automated plant.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing mechanical resources on daily basis
- Reactive and preventative maintenance
- Assisting with maintenance budgets
- Development and adherence to OH&S
- Drive continuous improvement on site
- Utilise the PM systems (Mex) to maintain and improve plant reliability
- Train and mentor staff
- Creation and implementation of SOP'S for maintenance and prodcution
- Weekly reporting
- Safety, GMP and Quality audits.
The role requires a trade qualified maintenance fitter with 3 -5 years experience as a maintenance supervisor from either a food, beverage of pharmaceutical environment.
