The Client

With a network of offices nationally and globally this freight forwarder has a portfolio of loyal clients and is looking to further expand its customer base. 

The Position

Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be accountable for:

• Identifying, targeting and securing new business 
• Developing. reporting and pursuing a continuing active pipeline
• Preparing and presenting proposals and tenders to senior decision makers
• Negotiating rate and service agreements with prospects and service providers
• Monthly reporting and document communicated to National Sales Manager

The Requirements

To be considered for this role you must demonstrate:

• Genuine desire to build new business
• Proven sales success in the freight forwarding industry
• Capability to achieve and report on KPI's based on activity and business growth
• Corporate presentation and communication skills  
• Positive and determined attitude
