We are looking for an experienced Logistics Officer and Motor Vehicle Driver to efficiently provide a courier service distributing inventory, mail and materials to various Council facilities and other locations across the city.
In this busy role, the Logistics Officer and Motor Vehicle Driver will prioritise and schedule their daily workloads in a demanding environment whilst maintaining a high level of customer service, security and confidentiality for items in storage and in transit.
This role works within a multi skilled/interchangeable team environment that always strives to achieve total customer satisfaction and aims to satisfactory complete tasks within acceptable timeframes.
To be successful in this job you will have:
- Holder of current HR unrestricted Class Driver’s Licence
- Holder of DC (dogging), C6 (slewing mobile crane 60t) and safe work near powerlines licences.
- Administrative and computer skills to meet the requirements of the position, including the use of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Ability to prioritise and schedule daily workload and perform allocated duties with minimum supervision in an on demand environment.
- Ability to work in a team based, multi skilled and cooperative work environment.
- Operational knowledge of inventory control procedures, associated computer systems and experience in an industrial stores environment.
- Ability to determine customer requirements and well developed customer service skills.

Remuneration: $63,334.52 + 9.5% Superannuation per annum for a 35 hour week.
