An opportunity exists for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our Brisbane staff, based in Loganlea. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career and gain excellent experience alongside a vibrant team committed to customer service and corporate growth.

The key responsibilities for this position include:

• Timely fulfilment of outgoing customer orders, particularly small parts and hardware
• Ensure incoming stock and parts orders are received on time and in full
• Improve supplier relationships and lead times
• Maintain our database of product and supplier information
• Assist with tight stock control by applying best of breed inventory management techniques
• Be a strong team player assisting in all areas of Operations and Customer Service
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and positive teamwork within the organisation
• Weekly reporting on back orders and stock levels

  Reporting to the Operation manager, the successful candidates will have:

• A proven track record in procurement, purchasing and stock control
• Experience with ERP systems – Syteline would be an advantage
• Excellent administration, documentation and computing skills
• Confident in accepting challenges and making this role your own
• Strong and professional communication and negotiation skills
• Exceptional customer service focus
• High level of organisational & time management skills
