We are currently seeking a highly motivated Supervisor to lead our Installations and Hydraulics team at our site in Narellan.
As the leader of this department, the successful applicant will be required to run the day to day operations within these areas. You will be leading a team that is required to ensure all jobs are completed on in a timely fashion without compromising quality standards and the expectations of our customers.
This position is required to provide guidance and support to the team whilst looking for opportunities on how the business can improve on their current processes and practices.
Duties will include (but is not limited to) the following:
- Allocating all necessary tasks to the Installations and Hydraulics team. Ensure all jobs are scheduled to reach completion in a timely manner.
- Provide support and leadership to the team and coach team members on tasks as and when needed.
- Manage and be accountable for inventory.
- Be accountable and manage all PDO’s, fit ups, and air systems.
- Streamline efficiencies that increase production and make it easier for the teams to work more effectively.
- Trailer brake and suspension system installations.
- Maintain a safe and healthy workplace by following all standards and procedures.
- Support and drive management initiatives within the business.
The successful applicant must demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly organised
- Willing to work on the production line as and when required
- Demonstrated ability to influence others through leading by example
- Proven experience in Transport and Manufacturing Industry (minimum 8 years)
- Ability to coach and support other team members when required
- Ability to maintain composure whilst working under tight deadlines
