About the role
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Arundel site on a full-time basis, with the purpose of supervising the Warehouse team and delivery drivers, quality control and ensuring Safe Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are in place. This role will be a supervisory role reporting directly to the Queensland Operations Manager.
Duties will include:
- Implement and ensure Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) in the workplace
- Supervise a team of Warehouse staff
- Assist with the management of the site budget and labour cost management including rostering and timesheet approval
- Local site traffic management and safety/sustainability
- Quality control
- Invoicing and PO processing
- Co-ordinating work flow of other staff members
- Processing Returns
- Day-to-day supervision of pick, pack, dispatch, receiving and yard activities
- Leading and working with the team to achieve KPIs
- Ensure ongoing relationship management with internal and external stakeholders
The Suitable Candidate
You will have at least 5 years’ experience in a Warehouse environment, with supervisory level experience. You will be able to demonstrate leadership capability and an analytical eye for detail, with solid ability to learn.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- 5 years successful experience in a warehouse supervisory position
- Strong safety focus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Sharp attention to detail and analytical ability
- Strong time and deadline management skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Team focus, flexible approach and ability to show initiative
