We are a well-established, supply chain and logistics provider who have been servicing some of the largest retail brands for over 20 years. We are currently seeking expressions of interest for Operations Manager to lead our facilities across Australia (NSW, VIC, QLD, WA and SA).
This is a great career opportunity for an Operations Manager / DC Manager (or similar) who has background with 3PL and is excited by the prospects of working with a brand who is experiencing rapid growth. This includes undertaking a range of continuous improvement projects, implementing new customers and managing multiple sites in the future.
The successful candidate will effectively contribute to the success of the business by:
- Managing day-to-day warehouse operations (warehouse, transport, inventory, administration)
- Achieving KPI and customer SLA's and leading communication with all key stakeholders
- Managing P&L budgets
- Delivering a first rate customer experience
- Ensuring all warehouse operation activities are completed on-time in line with the appropriate quality standard
- Ensuring efficient planning of the warehouse layout, racking and equipment
- Undertaking successful labour planning scheduling and efficiency tracking
- Managing personnel and fostering a workplace which rewards creativity and innovation
- Developing a strong safety culture and manage work health and safety issues accordingly
- Ensuring continuous process improvement within the facility
To be considered for this position, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following abilities, skills and expertise:
- Warehouse and logistics professional
- Minimum 5 years experience running large or complex warehouse facility
- Knowledge of transport and warehouse management systems
- Experience with 3PL warehousing and transport
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills
- Efficiency and meticulous attention to detail
- Team working and can do attitude
