Eco-Farms, one of the leading wholesale organic food specialists in Australia is seeking an ambitious and energetic individual to assist the QA Category Manager based in Homebush, NSW.
This role is central to our commitment to excellence and high-quality standards for our extensive range of fresh Organic produce and grocery.
Liaising heavily with internal and external departments, you will assist in the development, implementation, documentation and maintenance of the quality management system to HACCP/ Woolworths SE/Coles HARPS/ SQF /Organics /SMETA Pillar 2 standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensuring adherence to all Quality Systems
- Review & development of SOP’s
- Facilitating training in quality process / procedures
- Verification of Quality records
- Developing and maintaining product specifications and COAs
- Managing customer enquiries / complaints
- Preparation and support for multi-site audits
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Tertiary qualification in food technology / science desirable
- Minimum 3 years' Quality Assurance experience in FMCG environments
- Formal Principle and application of HACCP Certification
- Highly developed written and verbal communications skills
- Confidence to engage all levels of the business, from leadership to operators and customer service
- Ability to prioritise and work within deadlines
- Flexibility regarding hours of work as early/late starts and some weekend work may be required
- Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
