The Position

This is a newly created role where you will be accountable for:
  • Overseeing the daily activities of air import team and supervising staff
  • Acting as primary contact point for interstate and overseas offices
  • Ensuring fast and accurate registration of all air import shipments
  • Developing effective relationships with internal/external stake holders
  • Producing reports to ensure all data is entered correctly
  • Controlling the process and compliance of the operational team
  • Ensuring the team deliver exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Liaising with carriers and internal departments to monitor shipment progress
  • Attending to escalating issues 
The Requirements

To be successful in this role you require:
  • 5-10 years experience in Freight Forwarding
  • Proven forwarding supervisory experience
  • Industry relevant educational qualifications
  • Professional presentation and communication skills
  • Team building and mentoring strengths
  • Well developed leadership and influencing abilities
  • Advanced software skills (Word,Excel,Powerpoint)
  • Time critical skills
