This is a terrific opportunity to join a global agricultural commodity business in a key role as Logistics Coordinator. You will be based in their Melbourne headquarters on St Kilda Road, and be joining a business with a supply chain focussed mainly on the East Coast.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be a member of an established operations team looking to ensure the smooth order processing and delivery of their goods to customers. You will liaise with both the local and international operations team to monitor and update all inbound procurement and be confident and capable of dealing with their customers on any level of matter.
Your day to day duties will include:
- Liaise continually with customers to ensure their interaction with the business is optimal.
- Support customer orders through an online booking portal
- Coordinating inbound deliveries with 3PL providers, Customs Brokers and Government Agencies
- Measure and analyse delivery processes to identify any areas of improvement
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and be passionate about delivering a solution to troubleshoot any issues that arise. You will have a strong affinity or experience within the agricultural industry, as this will greatly assist with your development within the business and role. Ideally you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
