We are the largest brand in the Outdoor Leisure industry and are looking to grow our friendly team.
If you are an experienced Warehouse Manager who is seeking a great long term permanent role in a growing company then this could be the opportunity of working side by side with your team.
We are seeking a positive, motivated person with previous Warehouse Management experience to lead the warehouse team and ensure that the warehouse operates smoothly and efficiently.
You will be required to manage, mentor and support a team of warehouse staff and ensure delivery of products to our customers, maintaining a tight inventory control in a highly seasonal fast moving consumer goods warehousing environment. You will optimize the efficiency of the warehouse while ensuring adherence to regulations, policies and procedures.
Tasks that will be undertaken by the Warehouse Manager are:
- Ability to plan, prioritise, allocate and monitor workload
- Planning and coordination of transport companies
- High Reach Forklift Material Handling
- RF Picking and packing
- Managing goods inwards - Overseas container unloading and Palletised Truck Deliveries
- Manage the dispatch of shipments domestic and export
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
- Inventory Control including maintaining stock control, controlled storage and handling and regular stocktaking
- Implement and streamline warehouse processes, safety and systems
- Ensure compliance with all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintaining both external (Customer) and internal working relationships
- Maintenance of property plant and equipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role
- Forklift Licence and high reach experience
- Be highly motivated and results driven person with outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Good time management skills
- High level to attention to detail
- Drivers Licence
- Strong computer skills including warehouse management systems using RF scanning systems and MS Office.
- Excellent written, verbal, negotiation and all-round interpersonal skills.
