The Opportunity
Start your career with one of Melbourne's leaders in transport and customer service delivery in the role of Trainee Operations Supervisor. We are seeking an enthusiastic team players to perform basic operational tasks and provide administration support as junior members of our eastern suburb operations teams working from the Dandenong and Knoxfield depots.
Working closely with the Depot Manager and our operations supervisors, you will be trained across a broad range of operational functions including administration support to operations, general assistance to drivers, customer liaison, data entry and report compiling. This is a pathway position leading to an Operations Supervisor role. The traineeship is a 3 level program with a 2 year time span.
Applicants must have:
- Completed Year 12 VCE or equivalent study
- Current drivers' license
- Passion for customer service and delivering excellence
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong numerical skills
- Ability to operate as an effective team member in fast paced environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivation + confidence
- Some form of previous work or volunteer experience preferable
- Ability to gain police clearance
