This role will be responsible for preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.

The Role
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, heat shrinking, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Complete diary logs into inventory
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
The Person
The successful candidate will require:
- Forklift licence – Reach truck is a advantage
- Proven working experience as a warehouse worker, minimum of 5 years
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Have a meticulous and efficient work ethic
- Initiative and proven ability to work unsupervised
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages and objects
- Good customer services focus, excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in using overhead cranes.
