- Tuesday to Saturday role allocating vehicles in the refrigerated transport

- Based in Port Melbourne with good remuneration
Toll People are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Fleet Allocator on a full time basis. In this role you will need to have excellent time management skills, strong relationship skills and the ability to prioritise work in a fast paced environment.
This role will be based in Port Melbourne working for a Toll company and will need to have strong understanding of the refrigerated fresh produce transport environment. This is a Tuesday to Saturday role with 6 am starts.
Your daily duties will consist of the following:
- Setting and checking on temperatures in trucks and trailers
- Management of freight to customers and organising time slots
- Ensure optimal utilisation of company assets
- Planning and scheduling of resources
- Look after the management of subcontractors ensuring DIFOT
- Strong time management skills with competing demands
- Working to ensure profitability of the company by meeting KPI’s
The successful applicants will need to possess the following:
- Experienced in refrigerated transport
- Solid understanding around safety and driver fatigue management
- Evidence of planning and co-ordination skills
- Customer service skills
- Strong Microsoft program skills
- Able to work in a faced paced and time sensitive environment with competing demands
